Certified and sworn translations for official use in Portugal and internationally. Court documents, notarised contracts, and public registry submissions.
3-5 business days for standard legal documents.
Not every translated document requires official certification. Court filings, civil registry documents, academic certificates presented in foreign countries, and contracts for notarial proceedings typically require a sworn translator. Internal documents and correspondence usually do not.
If you are unsure, tell us your document type and where it will be submitted. We will advise whether certification is required and whether apostille support makes sense for your use case.
Our certified translations are produced by translators approved by the Portuguese Ministerio da Justica. We work regularly with clients at the Conservatoria, Tribunal, and public notary offices across Portugal.
Our sworn translators are approved by the Portuguese Ministry of Justice. Acceptance in other countries depends on their specific requirements. We can advise on apostille and additional certification options.
Apostille support is available as an add-on. We coordinate the apostille process on certified translations where required for international official use.
